The "Gaisberg Race for historic automobiles" will take place for the sixth time this year. The brightly polished veterans attract classic car fans from across Europe.
The 2008 Gaisberg Race will be held under the motto "Porsche's 60th anniversary!". The first Porsche was registered in Gmünd, Carinthia on June 15, 1948.
The program includes the city grand prix, a 1.8 km stretch winding through the historic city center, timed runs on the "Salzburg Ring" and on the "Gaisberg" mountain circuit. The victory ceremony will be held at Hangar-7.
