The 2008 Bach Festival will dominate the city from the Festival Hall to the Mozarteum, from the Residences to the Universities and the city's most beautiful churches. It will be a true festival – a symbiosis between the baroque city and the work of the cantor of the famed St. Thomas church, an encounter between young and old – in the music and the audience, classical music and jazz, traditional and modern.
