Salzburger Hochschulwochen – University of Salzburg, Large Auditorium "LOVE. PROVOCATIONS" August 4 – 10, 2008
The theme of the 2008 Salzburger Hochschulwoche (College Week) will be "LOVE". It will focus on an absolutely everyday topic subjected to irritating ambivalences. Written in capital letters, the title implies the power of love that rules our realities. The theme is omnipresent in the media and calls for a more critical analysis of the problems it outlines.

57th International Teachers' Workshop in Salzburg "Raising children together. Fought-over children in the family, schools and society." July 14 – 18, 2008
According to an African proverb "It takes a whole village to raise a child." Giving children and teenagers guidance on the path to an independent life is much easier if everyone involved acts in concert. The 2008 International Teachers' Workshop will deal with the topic of raising and caring for children.
