A moving Szene
This year's sommerszene will focus on the topic of "Motion and movement". The festival features extraordinary dance productions ranging from modern dance and hip hop to ballet, captivating the audience with dynamic choreography.
Internationally successful choreographers such as William Forsythe, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker and Dave St. Pierre will present their concepts of motion.
The festival program will be supplemented and enhanced by concerts, lectures, installations, talks, films and visual art contributions pursuing the topic of inner and outer movement in artistic contributions related to migration, sports and tourism. Participating artists will come from all five continents. One of the festival highlights will focus on "Kinshasa“, capital of the Congo.
