2008 Culture Days in Salzburg
October will have another cultural highlight to offer. This year's "Salzburg Culture Days" program will feature top-notch performances and concerts and a wealth of local and international performers and ensembles on the city's stages.

October 16, 2008 - 07:30 pm Large Festival Hall The Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by chief conductor Gabriel Feltz, will present Alborada del Gracioso by Ravel, Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra by Debussy (soloist: Stefan Arnold, Vienna) and the Symphonie fantastique, Op.14 by Berlioz
October 17, 2008 - 07:30 pm Large Festival Hall The Mozarteum Orchestra and the Salzburg Bach Choir will perform the Mass in B minor, BWV 232 by J.S. Bach under Ivor Bolton's baton during the 83rd Bach Festival.
October 22 and Octoer 23, 2008 - 07:30 pm Large Festival Hall Alexis Zorbas, the Greek - Ballet in two acts based on the novel by Nikos Kazanzakis in the original choreography and production by Lorca Masine featuring music by Mikis Theodorakis.
October 24, 008 - 07:30 m Mozarteum, Large Hall A Winter Journey by Franz Schubert starring Jochen Kupfer, baritone and Justus Zeyen, piano
