in Salzburg. Not really astonishing if you consider that over 4000 music and theatre events in different genres are held in the Festival city troughout the year. Apart from well known highlights such as the Salzburg Festival itself, 'Jazz Autumn' in Novemver or 'Mozart Week' in January, the are countless orchestral and chamber music concerts, serenades, soloist concerts, concerts in the most beautiful and elegant rooms of Salzburg's palaces (e.g. the famous Palace concerts in the Marble Hall of Mirabell Palace), rock and pop concerts, performances at the Landestheater, the Kammespiele, the Marionette Theatre, many private stages, cabarets, sacred music concerts etc.
