The turn of the year is open-end party time in Salzburg! Salzburg's historic city center will be enveloped with imaginative light installations starting December 29. 'Traum:Schlösser' (Dream:Castles) will cast a new light on Salzburg's Old City. The popular Hungarian band, 'Besh o droM' will perform on Residence Square starting at 3:00 p.m.
'Corazon al Sur' will offer Tango Argentino and gypsy jazz on December 30 (3:00 p.m., Residence Square). The republic will hold a 'Forget the year party' starting at 10:00 p.m.
The entire Old City will become a party zone on December 31 (9:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.) Residence Square – entertainment program on the big stage featuring videos, pyrotechnics and the groups "Straight up“, De la Rosa, Exit 2007. Platzl – Tower of Sound, DJs. Giselakai – Waltzing. Fireworks at midnight.
A more reposed spirit will prevail on January 1, 2008 with classical music along Salzburg's Mile of Sound.
