The good and famous painters, Johann Franz and Johann Friedrich Pereth
A special exhibition will present works by the Pereths, father and son, for the first time. The painters influenced sacred art in the city and province of Salzburg for more than eight decades. Their works focus on the elements of faith and the appeal of the painting, in line with the church's anti-Reformationist, post-Trendentine purposes.
