The Trick Fountains open March 20, 2008. Visitors can enjoy the fountains, grottos and all kinds of historic gadgets daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The banquet table damaged by winter storms and the "Winter" sculpture on the Star Pond were recently renovated.
Since the spring of 2007 a masterpiece of Asian handicraft is only display in the Chinese Room: the elaborately restored Chinese paper tapestries. The lavish paper tapestries portray hand-painted birds, butterflies, flowers and trees. Tapestries such as these were produced in China during the 17th century, shipped to Europe by East Indian trading companies and sold at extremely high prices.
