New Year's Eve gala with the 'Salzburg Comedian Harmonists'
Everyone has heard of the "Comedian Harmonists", the legendary close harmony quintet who used charm, style and humor in their songs whose lyrics were sometimes lascivious but always lively, absurd and bizarre.
Founded in Berlin, the Comedian Harmonists became popular around the world with songs such as "Veronika, Spring is Here", "My Little Green Cactus" or "A Friend, a Good Friend" and other masterly pieces.
Salzburg's Concert Society will offer these evergreens again this New Year's Eve, performed by five ambitious vocalists, an excellent pianist and a young actor.
