Toys from A to Z – The world in alphabetical order
Special exhibition at the Toy Museum
The Toy Museum's new special exhibit will show "Toys from A to Z" from the Toy Museum's own collection – from A as in Aardvark to Z as in Zebra.
From letters to words and on to books: the exhibit presents the development of writing from hieroglyphs to computer characters as well as special types of communication, such as Braille for the blind, sign language for the deaf and dumb and Morse code, used to communicate messages over long distances.
Another exhibit was provided by Literaturhaus Salzburg, showing "The world in alphabetical order" – a collection of books, games and videos that make learning the alphabet a fun experience.
