The building adjacent to the Mirabell Gardens is becoming increasingly popular in the corporate business sector. The size of the events changed compared to 2004 – there were fewer events with higher sales. This development is reinforced by the building's technical equipment, particularly in the field of network technology. Salzburg Congress customers can take advantage of a 30 MBit fixed line; further investments were also made in the building's lighting engineering. Above all, Salzburg Congress relies on a professionally trained team. In 2005 two out of three technicians passed the state examinations for event engineers and the first female apprentice has been trained in this branch since September 2005.
