Directions to the UEFA EURO 2008™ stadium in Salzburg/Wals-Siezenheim The fastest and most convenient ways to access the European Championship stadium are described below:

Combined EURO ticket – a ticket for a game (= match ticket) can also be used as a 36-hour ticket for public transport.

Bus connection: StadtBus Line 1 Central Station – European Championship stadium
High speed railroad connection: S3 Central Station – Salzburg Taxham Europark – continue to the European Championship stadium on foot
ARRIVING BY CAR Plenty of parking spaces will be available on the outskirts for visitors and fans from around the world. It will be possible to access the stadium and fan zone on signposted footpaths or by public shuttle buses. A shuttle service will also be available between the stadium and the Old City.
The European Championship stadium can be accessed via the A8 or A1 motorway.
Tip! We recommend that you use the public buses or shuttle buses during the European Championship and leave your car at your hotel or at one of the Park&Ride lots (P+R Süd, P+R Messezentrum).
Shuttle buses: Follow the information signs from the Exhibition Center (Messezentrum Salzburg) to the European Championship stadium
ARRIVING BY BUS It will be possible to access the fan zone via the North Terminal (Paris Lodron Strasse) or Nonntal Terminal (Erzabt Klotz Strasse). Busses can be parked at the North or South bus parking lot and in Hellbrunn for a nominal fee (currently EUR 38.00). Busses can also be parked at the Exhibition Center Park&Ride facility. No bus parking will be available in other public areas.
To coordinate departures from the fan zone (officially ending at 11:00 p.m., bearing extra times in mind) while meeting the rush demand, a back-up EURO night service will be available by Stadtbus, Albus and the RVO lines within the city limits until 12:45 a.m. and to the train station until 1:45 a.m. – except on days without games.
A traffic routing system in various languages will be provided; multilingual hostesses will also be available to assist visitors.
ARRIVING BY PLANE The Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart is located in the western part of the city of Salzburg (approx. 4 km from the city center) directly next to the A1 motorway exit "Flughafen" (Exit 296).
Taxi: A taxi stand is located in front of the terminal.
