	Salzburg Advent Singing - "Da hat vor dem Stall der Äpfibam bliaht" November 30 - December 16, 2007 Following an introduction to folk music and a prolog by the shepherds "Heut is a b’sondere Nacht, was’s heut für a Liachtn hermacht!", the blind shepherd Simeon's dream is interpreted as the wondrous story of Joseph and Mary of Nazareth.
	Flight to Egypt December 1, 2007 - January 6, 2008 Although only mentioned briefly in the Bible, the "Flight to Egypt" is rich in legend. The exhibition shows paintings and graphics ranging from medieval woodcarvings to Dürer's much-cited portrayal of the scene to a series of 24 (!) etchings on the topic by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo.

	Historic Salzburg Christmas market Novembr 22 - December 24, 2007 Certainly one of the loveliest traditional Christmas markets in Europe, with the breathtaking Cathedral and Hohensalzburg Fortress serving as a backdrop. A total of 85 exhibitors will offer traditional handicrafts, unique gifts and delicacies, 68 cultural events and much more.
