The sixth Salzburg Art Project was handed over to the public on July 26, 2007, when Stephan Balkenhol's sculpture "Sphaera" was unveiled on Chapter Square. Stephan Balkenhol even created two sculptures for his contribution to the Salzburg Art Project.
The sculpture "Sphaera“ on Chapter Square measures 9 m high including the base. It depicts a man standing leisurely on a large gold sphere. Black trousers, white shirt, aloof posture and indifferent expression – this is someone we might know or any man.
The same indifference characterizes his 140 cm female pendant, "Woman in rock" in the rock face of the Toscaninihof.
