Founded in 1999 this is the fun way to see the city and nearby locations from the Film “The Sound of Music”. Our tour is about the movie and Salzburgs part in the filming. Along the way you will have a true flavour of our beautiful city. Touch the real gates at the convent, splash water at the horse fountain as Maria did or simply soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the wonderful countryside. We ride along tree lined cycleways away from the traffic on this truly magical tour.
The Tour is great for all ages and a great tour for families, it lasts approx. 3 ½ hours with lots of stops for a “breather” and refreshments. Daily at 9:30 from the beginning of May till September. Tours outwith these times can be arranged. No special fitness levels needed, this tour is for everyone. Bicycles, helmets, childseats etc. are all provided.
