The Countdown Clock in front of Salzburg Central Station was unveiled on June 7, 2007 to mark "1-year-to-go“. A second Countdown Clock is set up at the European Championship stadium in Wals-Siezenheim.
The 5.5 meter digital clock will count down the exact time left until kick-off in Basel at 6:00 p.m. on June 7, 2008 at the UEFA European Football Championship.
